The Collection started in a basement in Philadelphia in the 80's.  When I was a child I would sit and watch my mother sew.  She would make my Barbie Doll clothes with the left over fabric.  I learned about more than sewing in that basement,  I also learned how to make something out of nothing.  It doesn't take alot to be fashionable.  You just need to know what to put together.

As I got older my Passion for Fashion grew which I also attribute to my mother.  I would play dress up with her clothes and make-up trying to look like her(like most little girls do).  I have always admired my mother's fashion sense.  Her hats, handbags, suits, and dresses, her outfits are always perfectly put together.  Yet it always looked effortlessly done, so natural.  That's the mark of a true Fashionasta Diva.   Here it is 30 years later and I still have not outgrown my love of playing "Dress Up".
